Audience research
Audience research is when the researchers study the buyers and the people who will watch the advert. Another thing is that they will look into where the audiences lives so that they don't sell things tractors in london. Or maybe finding how much people earn in a certain area so then they don't promote a product in that certain area what people can't afford.
Market research
When it comes to to market research you need to know how much of that product or style of advert is already out there because you don't want to go into already large market of it. The reason you do this is because if you do then you shall be going up all kinds of competitors. Or maybe theres a lot of types of those products on the market.
Production research
Production research is when you look on the market to see how it is doing on the market and how would your product do and if people would like it.

The pros of using secondary research is that it is quick and you can focus on more important things. But the cons of using secondary research is that the information could be all wrong and you would have to spend longer looking for more information.
- Quantitative research; quantitative research is when you're talking about numbers such as the audiences age or their gender. The pros of quantitative is that you will be able to find the basic information very easily. The cons of quantitative research is that you might not be able to receive the information because of confidentiality of some of the audiences.
